Nicolás Jarry (74° en el ránking ATP) dio muestras de su mejor versión en el circuito internacional y se impuso a su compatriota Cristian Garin (34°), venciéndolo en un juego de exhibición en el Gran Arena Monticello. Además, se realizó un homenaje a Jaime Fillol y Patricio Cornejo dentro del partido, en el cual paletearon con “Gago” y el “Príncipe”, y recibieron un galvano y una bandera por disputar la final de la Copa Davis en 1976.
